Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) Account Administration*
Services comply with the requirements set by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for administration of a MSA account and therefore, protect future Medicare benefits.
Account administration services include preparation of the MSA custodial agreement, establishment of a MSA bank account, payment of MSA allowable medical bills, completion of all required accounting and reporting to CMS and ongoing communication with medical providers. Reversionary interest agreements available if desired.
MSA Self-Administration Support Services
This service is designed to provide beneficiaris with the knowledge, forms and resources necessary to self-administer a Medicare Set-Aside account, and offers unlimited phone access to professional support for the duration of the service selected.
Self-Administration support services are a cost effective alternative to professional administration for appropriate candidates and provides “peace of mind” for all industry professionals supporting the claim settlement process by ensuring that due diligence has been taken. Multiple service levels are offered including our standard 1-year service and our extended 3 and 5-year services.
Medical Custodial Account (MCA) Administration*
Used in conjunction with a MSA account or as a stand alone, the MCA provides a wide variety of options for professional administration of all or part of the medical settlement dollars.
The MCA provides access to services post-settlement that were previously only available pre-settlement such as access to discounted network pharmacy and equipment, mail order pharmacy services, case management, care coordination, utilization review and medical bill payment thereby extending and protecting medical settlement dollars.
*Each custodial account is administered in a separate account. Bridge Pointe does not engage in the "pooling" of custodial account assets.
However, Bridge Pointe may invest assets from individual custodial accounts in common funds maintained by separate entities exempt from treatment as investment companies under the Investment Company act of 1940. Bridge Pointe is in full compliance with all applicable fiduciary laws. |
